About the Role:
A Fraud Officer is responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities within an organization. The role involves monitoring transactions, analyzing suspicious patterns, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Fraud Officers work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to minimize financial losses, protect organizational assets, and strengthen fraud prevention controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and collect information on any fraud related cases reported to the company.
- Investigate and ascertain background information on claimants or witnesses.
- Provide independent advice (verbally and in writing) to senior management on all fraud cases.
- Carry out investigations on damaged items reported after stock takes.
- Identify possible fraud threats or gaps in the company including the warehouse operations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dealing with criminal fraudulent activities in the PAYGO Industry
- Contact external partners (i.e the law enforcement agents) to validate information on fraud cases.
- Serve as a witness in legal cases that arise.
- Ensure a secure process in the company’s logistics where product move from manufacturer in China to customers in the field.
- Any other duty assigned by management
