WeForest Zambia Ltd was established in 2019 with a mission to deliver holistic forest landscape restoration. WeForest Zambia is headquartered in Ndola, on the Copperbelt, and has four projects under implementation: two in the Copperbelt and two in Muchinga Province.

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent university graduate to gain hands-on experience where you will engage in various areas including:
- communications asset management
- social media
- digital communication
- content creation
- storytelling
- on the ground content harvesting.

Position Overview:
The Marketing & Communication Intern will support daily department operations through administrative coordination, document management, scheduling, and project tracking. You will help ensure communication initiatives are well-organized and properly documented, to support smooth execution and reporting.
The position will be based in the WeForest Zambia Head Office in Ndola; you will support the Head of Marketing and Communications in Europe to manage communications from across the Africa portfolio. The position will also be expected to support in-country needs.
Key Deliverables:
- Draft and edit content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media
- Support social media management, including scheduling posts and monitoring engagement
- Assist with internal communications
- Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and email campaigns
- Help maintain brand consistency across all communications
- Manage and archive department documents (photography, programmatic stories, blogs, ways of working)
- Assist in preparing quarterly department reports
- Coordinate storytelling formats from our programs by working with local teams and acting as a bridge to the HQ team
- Support local communication efforts in Zambia

- Available full-time during the internship (5 days/week)
