Roles and Responsibilities

The Field Loan Recovery Officer is responsible for recovering overdue loan repayments from customers through field visits, negotiations, and follow-up activities. The role requires maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving recovery targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to customers with overdue loan accounts.
  • Engage customers professionally to secure repayment commitments and recover outstanding debts.
  • Negotiate repayment plans with customers where applicable.
  • Trace and locate customers who are difficult to reach through phone calls or other channels.
  • Verify customer addresses, employment details, and other relevant information during recovery activities.
  • Document all recovery efforts and customer interactions accurately in the company’s systems.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Recovery Manager as required.
  • Ensure all recovery activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical collection practices.
  • Meet assigned recovery targets and performance metrics.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports.
