About the role

Voice for Human Rights is seeking a passionate, organized, and committed individual to serve as a Volunteer Unit Coordinator for the Health & Disability Unit.

The successful candidate will support the coordination of activities within their assigned unit, facilitate communication among volunteers, assist with scheduling and planning, and contribute to the implementation of organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communication within the assigned unit.
  • Organize meetings, engagements, and departmental activities.
  • Maintain calendars and monitor deadlines.
  • Follow up on tasks and action points.
  • Support planning and implementation of projects and campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with other coordinators, volunteers, and leadership.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Interest in human rights, advocacy, public health, legal research, communications, or community development.
  • Prior experience in leadership, coordination, volunteer management, advocacy, research, communications, media, health, or related fields is an added advantage but not required.
