Role Description
This is Cosmic’s first dedicated marketing role. You will own the marketing function end-to-end; building brand awareness, driving B2B lead generation, and supporting sales across all three branches. You’ll plan and execute campaigns across digital and traditional channels, working closely with sales, product, and leadership to ensure consistent messaging and effective go-to-market activity. This role suits someone who is comfortable setting strategy as well as doing the hands-on work themselves.
Role Overview
Digital & Social Media
- Own and grow all social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid social and ad campaigns
- Drive SEO improvements and maintain the company website
Brand & Content
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels and branches
- Produce copy and creative for email campaigns, product promotions, presentations, and digital assets
- Build and manage a content calendar aligned to business priorities
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends
- Translate insights into actionable campaign recommendations
- Monitor and report on campaign performance with clear improvement proposals
B2B Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Design and run outreach campaigns targeting business clients for IT equipment and Managed Services
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing with the pipeline and support lead nurturing
- Identify new market segments and business targets across Lusaka and the wider region
Events & Promotions
- Plan and coordinate in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and events across branches
- Liaise with branch managers to align activity with local priorities
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, IT, or technology
- Proven ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns independently across multiple channels
- Strong market research and analysis skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in the IT or technology sector is an added advantage
Software Proficiency
- Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva, WordPress/WooCommerce, Hootsuite or similar, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Advantageous
- Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, basic HTML/CSS
