About the role

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a leading international construction company, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Laboratory Technician (2 Positions) based in Shibuyunji District.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out laboratory and field testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze material samples in accordance with approved testing procedures and standards.
  • Record, compile, and maintain accurate laboratory test results and reports.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated safely.
  • Assist in monitoring quality control and quality assurance processes on construction projects.
  • Report test results to engineers and project management teams in a timely manner.
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Project Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in construction materials testing.
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control standards.
  • Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment and interpret results accurately.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision.
