Government Liaison and Public Relations Officer

CHINGOLA RESOURCES LIMITED (CRL) is a mining company based in Chingola, Copperbelt province. the company is inviting applications for the following position:

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full‑cycle application, renewal, amendment and annual inspection of all mining‑related licenses and permits.
• Maintain daily communication with government departments, monitor policy changes and report potential risks.
• Coordinate government inspections and official visits, resolve approval bottlenecks for the project.
• Interpret local mining policies and provide internal reference for project operation.
• Complete other government‑affair and public‑relation assignments from management.

Requirements

1. Experienced in government liaison and operation, familiar with mining license and permit application procedures.
2. Capable of communicating and negotiating with local government authorities independently.
3. Good at preparing application documents for mining permits, renewal, amendment and annual inspection.
4. Familiar with local mining laws and policies, proficient in official document drafting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public relations from a well recognised institution.
• Minimum of 5‑years relevant working experience in mining‑related government affairs / public relations.
• Excellent communication skills
• An affiliate member of the professional body
