About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, drive portfolio growth, and lead a high performing team. The role will be responsible for balancing commercial sales targets with rigorous credit risk management, ensuring operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service to our client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead catchment area market expansion, achieve disbursement targets and grow the branch deposit and loan books.
  • Oversee credit submissions, loan officer portfolios, and enforce strict PAR recovery protocols.
  • Manage, mentor and evaluate field officers and customer service staff.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies and branch operational procedures.
  • Maintain strong community relations and ensure high customer retention levels.

Qualifications

  • University Degree preferably in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Commerce, Accounting or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years work experience in a recognized micro finance institution or commercial bank.
