Its Head Office is located in the Lusaka’s Light Industrial Area along Nampundwe Road, Off Mumbwa Road. In its quest to maintain quality service delivery, the company seeks to recruit qualified highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions.
Job Overview
The Forming Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining forming machines to ensure high-quality products are produced safely, efficiently, and to exact specifications. The role directly supports production targets while minimizing waste and machine downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor forming machines according to SOPs and product specifications.
- Check machine settings, molds, and tooling regularly to ensure correct product formation.
- Conduct rigorous in-process quality checks and report any defects immediately.
- Ensure all finished products meet required weight, shape, size, and appearance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production engineering or machine operation role within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively and stay alert in a fast-paced environment.
