About the role

The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for:
* Assembling of machinery and equipment
* Installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment
* Ensuring the machines are correctly functioning to avoid downtime
* Ensure the machinery and equipment are installed according to their blueprints.
* Repair broken down machines and equipment in a timely manner
* Diagnose every issue and replace faulty machinery as needed
* Be able to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications of the machinery and installation requirements
* Be able to work closely with Engineers and other technical experts to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during operations process.
