Position: Real Estate Buyer / Land Acquisition Specialist
Location: Zambia
Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Buyer / Land Acquisition professional with strong expertise in land identification, acquisition, negotiation, and due diligence in Zambia.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Zambian property market, land ownership processes, documentation, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suitable land and real estate opportunities for acquisition.
- Lead the end-to-end land acquisition process from sourcing to closing.
- Conduct preliminary assessment of land titles, ownership, and documentation.
- Negotiate purchase prices and commercial terms with landowners and sellers.
- Coordinate with lawyers, surveyors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct land due diligence, including title verification, ownership, zoning, and encumbrances.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential land acquisition opportunities.
- Prepare acquisition reports, property evaluations, and recommendations for management.
- Monitor market trends, land values, and emerging real estate opportunities.
- Ensure all acquisitions comply with applicable Zambian laws and regulations.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate acquisition, land buying, property development or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience in land acquisition and negotiations.
- Good knowledge of the Zambian real estate and land market.
- Experience dealing with landowners, agents, legal advisors, and government authorities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to independently identify and assess potential land opportunities.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment.
- Candidates with experience in property development or large-scale land transactions will be preferred.
Education
A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related discipline is preferred.
Compensation
Gross Salary: ZMW 15,000 per month
Note: Candidates should ideally have strong local experience and an established understanding/network within the Zambian land and property market.
