About the role
Roland Imperial Tobacco Company Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, energetic and target-driven individuals to join our Sales Team as Sales Representatives.
Duty Stations
We are recruiting Sales Representatives in the following provinces:
* Lusaka Province
* Copperbelt Province
* Northern Province
* Western province
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Promote and sell company products to customers and distributors.
- Meet and exceed monthly and weekly sales targets.
- Identify new sales opportunities and grow the customer base.
2. Customer Management
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Visit customers regularly and understand their needs.
- Follow up on customer orders and enquiries.
3. Market Development
- Conduct regular market visits within the assigned territory.
- Identify potential customers, retailers and distributors.
- Monitor competitors, pricing and market trends.
- Provide feedback on market conditions to management.
4. Product Promotion
- Properly present and promote company products.
- Ensure products are well displayed and available at customer outlets.
- Educate customers about the company’s products.
5. Orders & Collections
- Take customer orders and coordinate with the relevant departments for delivery.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments where required.
- Ensure accurate recording of orders and sales.
6. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily and weekly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Report challenges, competitor activities and market opportunities to the Sales Manager.
7. Territory Management
- Effectively manage the assigned sales territory.
- Plan daily customer visits and routes.
- Ensure maximum market coverage and productivity.
8. Professional Conduct
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Follow company sales policies, procedures and ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company property and information.
