About the role
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Representative – Agronomy Products to drive sales and support customers within the Agricultural sector. This is a mid-entry level opportunity for candidates with relevant qualifications and practical experience in agriculture or agronomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and other agronomic solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with farmers, commercial growers, agro-dealers, and agricultural stakeholders.
- Conduct field visits and provide technical advice on crop management practices.
- Identify new sales opportunities and grow the customer portfolio.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates.
- Organize and participate in product demonstrations, field days, and promotional campaigns.
- Achieve sales targets and support business growth initiatives.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in agronomy, agricultural sales, crop production, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of crop production, fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
- Must be based in Lusaka or willing to relocate.
