Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Record and update stock levels in the inventory management system.
- Organize and store items safely and systematically to ensure easy retrieval.
- Issue stock to departments based on approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and report low or expiring items to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse at all times.
- Assist with stock counts (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Ensure compliance with hospital procurement and inventory control procedures.
Tuck‑Shop Duties
- Serve customers (staff, caregivers, visitors) courteously and efficiently.
- Operate the cash register/ ensuring accurate cash handling and receipting.
- Replenish shelves and maintain attractive product displays.
- Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tuck‑shop area.
- Support daily sales reconciliation and submit cash to Finance as required.
- Assist in identifying fast‑moving and slow‑moving items to guide restocking decisions
Key Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
- Good numeracy skills and ability to handle cash responsibly.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance.
- Physical stamina for lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Teamwork, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy (inventory systems, POS, Excel) is an added advantage.
