About the role
OneLife is a licensed long term (Life) insurance provider in Zambia. Regulated by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) OneLife specializes in Life and Health Insurance. OneLife requires, a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, highly credible, and suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacant positions below.
Job Description Summary
- Registering all member application forms when received
- Underwriting of all forms
- Loading new business and member application forms timely and accurately
- Activation of new members and inclusions
- Deactivation of members
- Communicating membership rules to clients
- Conducting membership reconciliations
- Handle all client related queries and correspondence and escalate to relevant department when necessary
- Continually improve and maintain high service levels
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Deliver client-centric processes and solutions
- Attend to walk in clients and provide the necessary assistance
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
- Take ownership for driving own career development
- Positively influence and participate in change initiatives
- Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency
- Manage financial and other company resources under his or her control
Qualification and Experience
- Must have at least a first degree in Insurance or business-related qualification.
- Diploma in Insurance (added advantage)
- At least 2–3 years experience in insurance related role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to coach and motivate teams.
