About the role

OneLife is a licensed long term (Life) insurance provider in Zambia. Regulated by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) OneLife specializes in Life and Health Insurance. OneLife requires, a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, highly credible, and suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacant positions below.

Job Description Summary

  • Registering all member application forms when received
  • Underwriting of all forms
  • Loading new business and member application forms timely and accurately
  • Activation of new members and inclusions
  • Deactivation of members
  • Communicating membership rules to clients
  • Conducting membership reconciliations
  • Handle all client related queries and correspondence and escalate to relevant department when necessary
  • Continually improve and maintain high service levels
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Deliver client-centric processes and solutions
  • Attend to walk in clients and provide the necessary assistance
  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Take ownership for driving own career development
  • Positively influence and participate in change initiatives
  • Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency
  • Manage financial and other company resources under his or her control

Qualification and Experience

  • Must have at least a first degree in Insurance or business-related qualification.
  • Diploma in Insurance (added advantage)
  • At least 2–3 years experience in insurance related role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams.
