Aarvik Environmental Ltd is a Zambian environmental, sustainability, ESG, health and safety consulting firm committed to advancing ESG excellence across industries.
We support clients across the mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, conservation, agriculture, and industrial sectors through the provision of environmental management, occupational health and safety, ESG advisory, sustainability reporting, climate change solutions, greenhouse gas accounting, biodiversity management, ISO management systems, regulatory compliance, and capacity-building services.
As our portfolio of projects continues to grow, we are seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to join our pool of Associate Consultants. Successful candidates will be engaged on a project-by-project basis to support assignments across Zambia and the wider region.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, Ecology, Forestry, Climate Change, Geography, or related discipline
- Master's Degree will be an added advantage
- ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification
- ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification
Mandatory Professional Certifications
- Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV)
- Carbon Accounting and GHG Quantification
- Climate Change or Sustainability-related Certification
Experience & Competencies
- Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental management and sustainability consulting
- Experience conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)
- Experience developing and implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
- Experience in ESG reporting and sustainability frameworks
- Experience in climate risk assessments and adaptation planning
- Experience in carbon accounting, GHG inventories, emissions quantification, and climate reporting
- Familiarity with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 Sustainability Disclosure Standards
- Knowledge of biodiversity conservation, environmental compliance, and regulatory permitting
- Strong technical report writing and project management skills

* Professional consulting experience within mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, conservation, or industrial sectors
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to facilitate training workshops and stakeholder engagements
* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
* High ethical and professional standards
* Willingness to travel nationally and regionally when required
