ASSISTANT APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR – ECH5
Job Summary
Reporting to the Applications Administrator, the job holder will provide IT applications support services to ensure availability of reliable and quality information systems and support services that meet user requirements. The job holder will also be expected to design and code software that automates monitoring and repair of IT applications.
Key Attributes & Skills
- Must be sufficiently experienced in OOP, SQL and Unix/Linux commands and structure.
- Must have in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in coding in languages including, but not limited to Java, C++, C#, or Python
- Must have solid knowledge of Shell Scripting.
- Innovative solution provider, capable of articulating new ideas and changes.
- Must be a multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced & changing environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least credits in five subjects that must include English and Mathematics.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Membership to a relevant Professional Body.
- At least Three (03) Years’ relevant professional experience.
