Twyford is seeking a proactive and results-driven Procurement Officer – MRO Sourcing Specialist with at least 2 years of relevant experience to support the Procurement Team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong focus on Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sourcing, eager to contribute to a reputable manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of MRO (spare parts) materials critical to operational continuity. This includes strengthening supplier relationships, improving delivery performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. The role also plays a key part in enhancing the company’s corporate image through professional supplier engagement and consistent procurement excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of all procured materials and services in line with operational requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on quality issues with suppliers, driving corrective actions to improve delivery efficiency and product quality.
- Actively develop, assess, and manage supplier resources based on cost, quality, delivery performance, and overall reliability.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (maintenance, operations, and finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Track purchase orders and proactively resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, particularly in MRO sourcing and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement; experience in MRO (spare parts) sourcing is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external suppliers.
- High level of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
