We are the premier Outsourcing organization. We enable regional and international companies to hire and manage top-tier Zambian talent compliantly without having to set up a local corporate entity. We are seeking an experienced, detail-driven Payroll Specialist.

The Role

As our Payroll Specialist, you will oversee the full payroll lifecycle and compliance framework for our client portfolio. You will ensure that every client employee is paid accurately, handling multicurrency payrolls and that all statutory obligations are perfectly executed.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage the monthly payroll cycle for multiple clients, ensuring exact calculations of basic pay, overtime, and allowances.
  • Statutory Filings & Remittances: Prepare, file, and remit monthly returns on or before statutory deadlines to ZRA (PAYE), NAPSA (pension), and NHIMA (health insurance).
  • Simulations: of pay, gratuity, etc., and many calculations including compliant gratuity provisions.
  • Client Advisory: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and employees on complex inquiries regarding all issues payroll.
  • Entity Relationships: Represent the firm and manage relationships with local labor officers, the ZRA, NAPSA, and the Workers' Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) etc.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Haves:
* 1-3+ years of experience processing payroll and managing statutory HR compliance.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for compiling payroll registers and reconciling data.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex local tax and employment laws to foreign clients in plain English.

Nice-to-Haves:
* Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
* Experience using localized payroll software.
* Similar previous experience handling multiple client accounts.
