About the role
Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce is the largest Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVET) institution under the Ministry of Technology and Science (MoTS). The institution is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position:
MAIN DUTIES
- To identify and track funding opportunities from government, private and international sectors
- Co-ordinate grant proposal development processes and budget and financial planning for proposals
- Serve as liaison between the College and external stakeholders as well as foster sound relationships with funding agencies and strategic partners
- Monitor compliance of funded projects as well as prepare progress reports
- Train staff in grant writing, fundraising and project management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Full Form 5/ Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Business or a related field
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in research co-ordination or academic environment as well as a demonstrable record of research publications

- Strong proposal writing and fundraising skills
- Project Management and reporting skills
- Financial Literacy and compliance knowledge
- Excellent networking and communication skills
