Forming Operator

Job Overview

The Forming Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining forming machines to ensure high-quality products are produced safely, efficiently, and to exact specifications. The role directly supports production targets while minimizing waste and machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor forming machines according to SOPs and product specifications.
• Check machine settings, molds, and tooling regularly to ensure correct product formation.
• Conduct rigorous in-process quality checks and report any defects immediately.
• Ensure all finished products meet required weight, shape, size, and appearance standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production engineering or machine operation role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively and stay alert in a fast-paced environment.
