Position Overview
Zanaco Bank Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Operations Division under the Facilities & Premises Management at Head Office – Support Functions:
Role Description
Job Purpose:
To provide logistical support towards attainment of fleet management service for ZANACO
- To compile all defects of motor vehicles to supervisors to facilitate repairs to avoid more damages to Bank motor vehicles.
- To make sure that all motor vehicles are kept clean to portray a good image of the Bank
- To ensure that all motor vehicles are properly checked things like, oil water, road license, vehicle fitness, brakes, lights etc and to make sure those motor vehicles are kept in roadworthy condition.
- To make sure that any road traffic accidents are reported to state police and supervisors. To comply with the law of the land to facilitate insurance claims as per our Bank Procedures.
- To ensure that take over and hand over forms for each particular motor vehicle are adhered to for accountability purposes.
- To drive all Bank motor vehicles outside/within the country and to ensure Bank assignments are fulfilled

Manage Motor Vehicle Service providers to ensure service provided is in line with agreed Service levels
Maintain overtime logs and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained
Manage tasks and plan routes so as to ensure time efficiency
Financial reports on Motor vehicle and overtime spend
Complete and approved overtime sheets
Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Functionality

Reduced costs on facilities operations and maintenance/ increased profitability for the bank
Manage budget and ensure actuals are in line with budget for expenses within approved DOA
Ensure service and costs provided by external vendors are appropriate and, where relevant, ensure that these relationships are managed via SLA’s
Develop cost reduction initiatives and proposals for non-staff costs

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Education
- Grade Twelve with 5 O-levels
- Minimum class C license with no certificate restrictions
- Professional: As required by function
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years experience in driving
- Knowledge of highway code
Certifications: Mechanics certificate
