About the role
Job Purpose
To impart knowledge and skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students in order to develop them into doctors and medical professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS, RESEARCH AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 school certificate with at least five credits that must include English language, Mathematics and Science or its equivalent.
- PhD in Physiology, Neuroscience, or related discipline from a reputable and accredited University.
- Master of Physiology, Neuroscience, or related discipline from a reputable and accredited University.
- Bachelor of Physiology, MBChB or related field.
- All academic qualifications and results must be Validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
- At least five (5) years teaching/research experience at the university or research institute.
- At least 10 peer- reviewed publications in recognised outlets in the field of specialisation.
- Valid practicing license from a relevant professional regulatory body.
